Vintage Modernist Sliced Agate Table Lamp

Wonderful Modernist Tall table lamp with organic theme of a sliced brown agate with an additional bulb that illuminates the stone from behind. Polished chrome base and center post, resting on a patinated brass stepped base. The brown stone has shades of black, browns, tans and beige/white. Willy Daro was famous for his designs featuring natural slabs of agate or crystal geodes. This particular design has a more elaborate base than most of his other designs. New round black paper lampshade with silver lining.

Dimensions: 36" high overall, with shade. 14" diameter shade.
Base: 6" wide, 5" deep.  Agate Stone is 13" high, 6 1/2" wide, 1" thick.

Condition: In very good original condition. Re-wired for the USA. New black shade with silver lining.
