French Art Deco Skyscraper Chandelier
Circa 1930's, France 
Unique and stylized chandelier,
featuring 6 fluid arms that gracefully extend from the stepped,
skyscraper open center post and wrap around the polished nickel,
hexagon frame.
The bottom of the chandelier is a
open circle with the curled arm ends and a Moderne tassel finial.
Six arms are topped with round,
flared white opaque glass shades. Small polished nickel spheres
fasten the frame and are additional subtle design details on this
dramatic chandelier.
Flared ceiling canopy that can be
suspended from a chain for installation on a cathedral ceiling.
Dimensions: 33" diameter. Glass
Shades are 9" in diameter. Canopy 5 1/2" diameter.
33 1/2" high overall as shown, chain and a new canopy can be easily
added for higher ceiling requirements.
Condition: In very good restored
condition (July 2009) Re-plated in polished nickel, rewired for the
USA.
Uses medium based bulbs, shown with 40 watt clear sphere shaped
bulbs.
