French Art Deco Platformier Ceiling Fixture
Circa 1930's, France

 

Elegant French Art Deco rectangular platformier style chandelier.
Platform style in a two tone finish; polished nickel over bronze and polished bronze.

With frosted glass panels, glass disc inserts and round disc trimmed corner lights
that can be left as bare bulbs, or used with elegant silk lampshades. (as shown).

Dimensions: 28 1/4" wide, 17 1/2" deep. 32" High, as shown.
17 1/2" high  Down rods that can be cut down if needed. Body of chandelier is 4" high.
Silk Shades shown are: 4 3/4" high, 3 1/4"-5 1/2" wide.

Rectangular Canopy can be flush mounted or suspended from a chain if you wish to install this on a cathedral ceiling.

Condition: Complete (professional) restoration. (June 2010)
The frame has been re-plated in polished nickel. Rewired for the USA.
The inside of the chandelier body has been painted white to improve the reflective quality of the light.
Open top allows for heat escape and easy bulb changing.
New colorless frosted glass. We are including the original glass with this, which is peach/pink.
