French Modernist Polished Nickel
frame with clear glass rods and clear & frosted glass floating
panels
and bottom panel. Optional top floating glass panel. Platform style Ceiling Fixture, ideal for
flat ceilings over a conference table, dining table or kitchen
island.
A classic Petitot design from the
1930's.
Rare oblong profile with 4 rectangular down-rods and a rectangular
ceiling canopy.
Half round floating glass frame panels rest on the ends of the
chandelier frame.
A top floating glass panel (with a slightly green polished edge)
creates an even larger chandelier.
Overall Dimensions, with frosted
glass Panels, as shown above: 38 3/4 " wide, 22 " deep.
Glass is 1/4" thick.
15 1/2" high as shown.
Option B, remove the top glass;
perhaps for use over a smaller table:

Chandelier Body with lower glass
measures:32" wide, 15 1/4" deep. 15 1/2" high as shown.
(if used without top glass panel as shown above)
Chandelier bottom; 3 1/2" high.
Ceiling Canopy Alone: 13 1/2" x 5 3/4", 2" high.
Please note: the down rods can be
shortened upon request. The down rods themselves are 10 3/4" long.
Condition: Restored ( June 2010)
with a polished nickel finish and new wiring, for the USA.
Four Candelabra bulbs illuminate the glass rods and lower panel.
The inside frame has been painted white to offer the ultimate in
light reflection.
Open top makes bulb changing easy and allows heat to escape.
