Belle Époque Early Art Nouveau Grand
Chandelier Circa 1898, European-possibly Viennese
Grand Art Nouveau transitional chandelier, suitable for an elegant
traditional decor,
a Victorian or a 1940's Hollywood Regency glamorous decor.
Perfect in a grand entryway, master suite or over a round dining
table.
Cherub and sway /cascade design details throughout the chandelier
design.
Large yet open design, made of brass with a bottom cut crystal
illuminated bowl.
Upper tier has 4 arms that illuminate. 9 bulbs in total.
Although grand in scale and appearance, this fixture is not
particularly heavy
and should not require special ceiling support.
Dimensions: Overall 25 3/8" diameter. Middle diameter 6 1/2". Cut
glass bowl 5" high, 14" diameter.
Body is 28" high and can be mounted directly onto a flat ceiling,
or suspended from a chain for a higher ceiling.
Canopy/top has a 9 3/4" diameter and is 2 1/2" high.
Condition: In very good original condition.
Will be rewired upon purchase and the canopy finial will be
replaced.
