French Art Deco Modernist Chandelier
Circa 1930’s, France

 

Rare Art Deco period chandelier in a soft satin brass finish with opalescent molded glass.
Large illuminated stepped, center glass bowl with linear design in the opal glass.
Matching side light shades with open tops and flared ‘wings’.
The shades are supported by brass arms that have a deeply etched geometric design.

Please note:
Unfortunately, the glass design is not well represented here on a white background;
we will be re-photographing this soon on a black background.

Dimensions: 17” wide overall. Center bowl has a 14” diameter and is 4 ½” high.

28 ½” high overall. Overall height of glass design is 12” high.
Graduated downrods are 4 ½” (thinner) and 13 ½” and could be cut down a bit if needed.
Of course the canopy can be hung from a chain for higher ceilings.
Canopy 4” wide. Glass shades: 3-5 ½” wide with wings. 5 ½” high.

Condition: In very good original condition, original European wiring intact.
Will be re-wired upon purchase if requested.
