French Art Deco
Elegant Glass drop chandelier
In the manner of J E Ruhlmann

Circa early 1920's, France

Round Art Deco
Frame Cast of solid bronze with the original nickel plating intact.
Note the dimensional design on the art deco frame that wrap around
the top of the crystal frame.
Two tiers of Frosted glass beads dangle from the frame with their
original wires.
Each strand is finished with a clear teardrop crystal.
Top trumpet shaped nickel canopy is suspending the body with four
chains.
Ruhlmann had a
fondness for this dropped strand of crystal design and used it
frequently in his designs, on chandeliers that were large and small,
as well as wall sconces and table lamps.
This chandelier is
ideal for a small entry foyer, luxurious master bathroom or power
room,
or even in a glamorous ladies dressing room.
Dimensions: 11 ½”
diameter, 20” high, strands are 9 ½” and 12” long.
20” high overall as shown.
Condition: In
original as found condition, in need of complete restoration.
This offers the opportunity to restore in your choice of metal
finish.
