French Art Deco Chandelier by Petitot
Circa 1930's, France

 

Beautiful 6 arm chandelier with unusual hexagon shaped glass rod center post that illuminates.
Art deco design detail at the top of the center column. Polished nickel frame with stair
stepped arm design and waterfall frosted clear glass shades.
Extremely well made frame and in beautiful condition.

The waterfall design was a popular motif at the 1925 Paris Exposition
and was used widely during the 1930's.
Very high quality and a show stopper in any home or office.

Dimensions: 34 " diameter overall with shades.
Overall height as shown: 35 " high. 23" high body.

This chandelier can be suspended from a cathedral ceiling from a longer chain for higher ceilings.
Ideal for any room of the house that needs that extra sparkle !

7" diameter canopy. 6 shades 8" diameter. Center column, 8 3/4" wide.

Condition: In excellent restored condition. Re-plated and re-wired.
