French Art Deco Figural Bronze Stork Statue

Truly wonderful and rare figural bronze statue of a large stork or water bird.
Multi-toned rich patina with gilded legs. Medium to large scale bronze statue. 
Nice detail and expression on the stork's face. 
Perched upon a bronze cubist block, signed by the artist, Meriadec 
and stamped with Max Leverrier's foundry seal in Paris.

Dimensions: 14 1/2" high, 4 1/8" wide, 9 7/8" deep-with beak.

Condition: In excellent original condition.
