Silver plated bronze statue of a
stylized pheasant with flowing tail feathers
and beautiful, crisp detailing. On a black & white marble base.
Signed M. Simard in the bronze, on the pheasant's tail feathers.
Marie Louise Simard (1886-1963)
created figural statues depicting humans and animals,
one of her most famous was a bronze Trojan horse.
Dimensions: 17 3/4" wide, 4 3/4"
deep, 7 3/8" high.
Condition: In excellent condition,
the silver plated figure has been recently hand polished.
New felt bottom.
