Fabulous Large Equestrian themed statue
featuring two ladies racing on horseback.
Leaping, graceful movement, wind in their hair. Cold painted bronze
detailing over spelter
with three various patinas: verde skin, dark brown horses and golden
bronze dresses and scarves.
Angular base design was created to add to the fast paced movement of
this equestrian scene.
Created in Limousin, which is a beautiful region in France,
known for artists who created in metal, ceramics and glassware.
Artist unknown,
but in the manner of Charles, who loved equestrian themes.
Dimensions: 28 3/4" wide, 15 3/4"
high, 6 5/8" deep.
Please note: This bronzed spelter
statue is mounted on the original beautiful
marble and onyx decorative base which is quite heavy.
Condition: In excellent original
condition, showing patina and age appropriate wear.
Please note, the statues will be removed from the base for safe
shipping.
