Spectacular, Rare, Large hand wrought iron French Art Deco period wall clock
with lighted face and electric mechanism.
Very high quality with a beautiful original patina.
Provenance: This clock was removed from a Bank in France,
that was rumored to have been designed by Ruhlmann in the 1920’s.
Hand
Wrought Iron casing, frame and Roman Numerals.
Fluted detail at top and bottom of clock, fluid scroll decoration at each
side.
Frosted acrylic panel with the numerals attached with screws.
Original Skyscraper design black metal hands.

Clock with Garniture
Circa 1920's, France 
Stunning French Modernist Mantle
clock with beautiful red rouge veined marble foundation,
with a bold satin nickel plated bronze clock face and (signed)
figural nude woman statue on top, sitting amidst flowers. She has a
short 1920's bob hairstyle.
The clock face has raised, elongated Roman numerals in a very modern
fashion.
The clock is on a stepped marble base, all of the same variety.
The side garniture are flared vases made of the same marble, with
satin nickel art deco accents that match the left and right side
accents that frame the clock face.
Signed 'Geo-luc' on the bronze woman who is showcased on the top of
this dramatic clock.

garnitures. Marble base in shades of beiges and terracotta. Large oval shaped clock frame with large deco

clock, Silvered Bronze Art Deco Lady
with stepped, skyscraper accents framing the idea and garniture.
The Nude statue is kneeling, looking at her reflection in a very
detailed hand mirror.
Her hair is pulled to each side, with buns on each side, a 1920's
classic hairstyle.
Elongated octagon shaped face, with silvertone face and black
numbers and hands.
Signed in the bronze, 'Sadoux, Selp. Bourdeau, Ed te'
Made with beige, brown and mossy green varieties of Onyx.
Resting on silvered bronze bun feet.
The garniture are bookends that can be used with the clock, or on
their own.
