Circa 1930's, Germany
Unique Art Deco period vanity with
asymmetrical mirror frame
that has a round tubular design in lacquered wood.
The rich red lacquer finish has a slight orange tint to it.
The rounded open shelves on the left add to
the Modernist design,
the right side features an enclosed cabinet.
Resting on the original tubular metal base with rubber feet.
A true collector's piece!
Dimensions: 48" Wide, 16 ¼" Deep,
67 ¾" Tall.
Mirror: 19" Wide, 57" High.
Condition: In
very good condition; mirror is very good, showing minor age.
The red lacquered finish was the old hand applied method, not sprayed,
therefore it has the natural aging that is expected with this finish
over time.
( a sort of linear design with the grain on the top of the right side
cabinet)
Re-lacquering was done in Europe within the last decade.
The metal base is in original condition.
( Could be re-plated upon purchase if you desired a highly polished
metal finish.)
