Art Nouveau Painted Decorative Room Screen
Circa 1900, France

Four panel stair stepped folding decorative room screen.
Hand painted natural pond scene with a variety of birds.
Wood frame that has been lacquered in a glossy ivory.
Back panels are in a beige muslin. Original brass hinges.
This restoration was done within the last 10 years.

Dimensions: Each of the 4 panels are 22 ¾” wide.
Height, starting with the tallest, going to the shortest panels:
65 1/8” high, 61 ¼” high, 57 3/8” high and 53 ½” high.

Condition: In good (previously) restored condition.
Some stress cracks in the lacquer at the corners, as shown in photos.
Light spotting on the canvas here and there
but in overall very good condition considering the fragile nature and age.
