Wonderful, Large Machine
made area rug
in neutral shades of brown with orange accents.
Geometric Secessionist designs on the rug overall, with leaf and stylized
floral accents.
Approximately 8’ x 11’ (see exact measurements below) Machine Made.
At least 5 shades of tan to dark chocolate brown, with accents of 4 shades
of orange.
A very rare to find a rug of this design, size and age, in this good of
condition.
This carpet is a wonderful way to mix in Art Deco with Mid-century
furnishings,
as the colors are complimentary to both, and quite popular
today as well.
Display it on the floor or wall, as you would a tapestry.
Dimensions: 135 ¼” x 94
7/8”
Condition: Shown as found,
will be professionally cleaned prior to shipping.
The carpet was folded for shipping and the wrinkles need to be steamed out,
please take this into consideration when viewing.
In overall great condition for a rug of this age, there are a few minor
stains
that should come out with cleaning and wear along one of the shorter
edges as shown in bottom photos.
This is not bothersome and can be dyed or re-bound at that end, if so desired.
There
are no raggedy edges or wear marks within the body of the carpet.
