Panton Bio:
Verner Panton 1926-1998, Danish architect and designer, studied
architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.
He is above all famous for the first cantilever chair, the “Panton
Chair” and the “Cone” and “Heart-Cone Chair” for vitra. He has been
designing furniture for 40 years and cooperating with factories allover
the world.
Verner Panton is known as one of the most remarkable innovative talents
of 20th century design and architecture. He worked with Arne Jacobsen,
Fritz Hansen, Louis Poulsen, Hermann Miller, Vitra, Thonet and
Rosenthal.
