Funky Mid-Century Modern Coffee Table with Hidden Bar
In the manner of Willy Rizzo
Circa 1970’s, France

 

Mod design of polished chrome cylinders that reveal 2 hidden bars inside,
including an ice bucket-when the smokey grey glass top is swiveled aside.

Dimensions: 39 ½” wide, 19 ½” deep, 15 1/5” high.

Condition: Base in very good vintage condition.
The original glass top has a chip on one edge, priced accordingly.
This is easy to replace and we suggest doing so upon arrival
rather than shipping a new top.

About Willy Rizzo: 

Rizzo was most famous for his photography work,
capturing images of style and celebrity icons of the 20^th Century.
Rizzo photographed the first Cannes Film Festival.
His work has been published in numerous fashion magazines such as Vogue and Marie Claire.
One of his assignments was to cover the Nüremberg trials.

Rizzo later became famous in the late 1960’s and 1970’s for his furniture designs,
most notably his low ultra modern coffee tables.
Many featured hidden bars and were of mixed metal and glass materials.
