tiered Oval shaped table with floral inlay,
typical of Emile Galle’s work.
Signed
on the lower shelf EG with the cross of Lorraine in an oblong shield.
Hand
carved leg with a fluted almost bamboo detailing.

Emile
Galle was the most celebrated designer
to come out of Nancy during the Art Nouveau period.
He was best known for his innovative glass creations
which also featured many floral decorations.
Dimensions: Upper shelf: 26” high, 32 ½” wide, 24 ½” deep.
lower shelf: 12 ¼” high, 29 ½” wide, 22 ¾” deep.
Condition: In very god restored condition, with a new French polished finish.
