French Art Deco Hall Stand

Circa 1930s, France.
French Art Deco details decorate this all original
hand carved Mahogany entry hall piece.
Removed from a hand carved foyer installation,
this piece mounts directly to the wall.
Oblong octagon shaped mirror,
small display shelves flanked by a pair
of chrome and glass rod art deco sconces.

Dimensions: 40.5" wide by 8' tall, 8" projection.
sconces: 8" high, 4 1/2" wide, 5 1/4" projection.
Condition: In very good Original, as found condition.

Hand carved floral border around top half of the stand.
Fluted carved details form the back base of the piece.
Chrome fittings with clear and frosted glass sconces.

Stepped, layered profile around top half, shown in below left photo.
Carved geometric resembles metal but is actually a verde faux painted wood panel.
The paint finish is so realistic you have to knock on it to realize it is actually wood.
