Expands from round to oblong
Circa 1930's or 40's, France
Beautiful, functional and classic.
Four bronze sabot feet and finished table apron.
Sabot feet can be nickel plated or polished and clear coated upon
request/at time of purchase.
Highly figured, exotic Rosewood table, 43 1/4" Round, Expandable up
to 82"
with the use of custom leaves, turning the shape into a oblong
design.
Extremely versatile, this table can be used as a dining table, games
table or conference table.
Please note: Expansion leaves are
not included but can be made by our carpenter
and finished to match
the table, for an additional fee.
You may have the exact size and
apron design you request.
You may request 1 leaf with apron if you know the
size you need and wish to keep it in place all the time
-or- make 2
leaves so you can change the table length as needed for special
occasions.

widths, for leaf addition.
Dimensions: 43 1/4" Round, 29 5/8"
high. Apron is 3 3/4" high, tabletop is 7/8" thick.
Floor to bottom
of apron: 25 3/8" high. Space between legs: 24 1/2" wide.
When open for leaf addition, this
table can expand up to 82" in length.
If you take advantage of this
dimension, you may then use a standard 70" x 108" oblong tablecloth.
As this dimension is flexible, you
may make a single (39") or double (2 - 19 1/2" long ) leaves
that add a
total of 39" to the table dimension, when round ( 43 1/4").
Condition: In excellent restored
condition (July 2009) with a French Lacquered finish.
Clear finish
over the exotic Rosewood veneer. All original bronze hardware has
been cleaned.
