Willy Rizzo for Maison Jansen
Dining Table
French Modernist, Solid Bronze
Also ideal as a
Library Table or Desk
Designed by Willy Rizzo for Maison Jansen
Circa 1970’s, France

Rare and impressive
solid Bronze table from the Premier design house of Maison Jansen.
Likely a custom commission, just removed from a home in the south of
France. ( St. Tropez)
The transitional design is able to be used in almost any style or period
décor.
This spectacular table
can be used as a dining table, library table or as a ‘power desk’.
Meticulously crafted of solid bronze with a recessed layer of what looks
like a dark patinated bronze.
The trim, along with the bronzed glass top sets the polished bronze
frame apart
and gives this very heavy table a very open, airy feel.
Please note, you do see through the bronze top to the base,
it is not opaque as it appears in the main photo.
See the detail shot below for a photo of the top looking through to the
base.
The tabletop has an
unusual lozenge (elongated octagon) shaped top, with 8 angular sides.
Please note; this
table is extremely heavy as the base is solid bronze.
The top removes from the base for shipping and moving.
Dimensions: 89” wide,
43 ¾” deep, 30” high tabletop. Knee space is 27 ½” high off floor.
The 2 ends and 4 angled lengths are 24 ½” wide, each. The 2 longest
sides are 44 ½” long each.
Condition: In very good original condition, only hand polished, but not
lacquered,
so it will develop a patina over time. Of course you may opt to have the
base polished by
machine and spray lacquered (clear-coat) to retain the highly polished
finish (additional fee).
Item # FADDT45: Price:
$ 29,000.
