Important French Art Deco Dining Suite - Jules Leleu

Rare Jules Leleu (published) French Art Deco Dining Suite;
in Macassar Ebony and Bleached Mahogany / Rosewood:

Large Server with matching Dining Table that converts from round to oblong with 3 finished extension leaves. Incredible workmanship and quality went into this rare suite. Elaborate marquetry work, inlays and bronze accents decorate this functional work of art for your home.

French Art Deco Sideboard / Server / Credenza by Jules LeLeu. Bronze door trim and sabot feet,
with elaborate marquetry work and inlay on the server, to complement the tabletop.
Raised top with inset (original) black opaline glass top. Ribbed, arched foot design also
compliments the table base design. The doors on this cabinet are VERY thick, and the piece
has a nice weight to it. Inside the server are 3 compartments, with shelves and drawers,
center is mirrored as shown. Original key locks operational, with original bronze keys (2).

French Art Deco Round Dining Table or Center Table with 3 finished Macassar Ebony leaves to
convert to oblong shape. Extension leaves are still being restored and will be re-photographed
when complete, later in September 2008. Elaborate star patterned marquetry work on the tabletop,
in macassar ebony with mother-of-pearl accents around the perimeter.
Bronze sabot feet and bronze edge trim around table apron.
Ribbed, arched base design repeated from the leg design on the sideboard.

 Dining or Center Table: table top surface: 47", with edge trim, 49".
3 finished macassar ebony leaves make it into an oblong table. Top is 3 3/8" thick.

 Sideboard is 95 1/4" wide at lower cabinet, 91 1/4" wide at top of cabinet.
22" deep lower cabinet, upper area with black glass is 14" deep.40" high

Condition: In excellent restored (August 2008) condition with a high gloss French Lacquered finish.
