Mid-Century Modern Italian Ladder Back Dining Chairs - Set of 4
Circa 1960's, Italy

 

Wonderful set of high back, black (painted) metal dining chairs with a open, 8 rung, ladder back design, 
topped in a brass rail with corner finial detail. Hair pin tapered round legs with brass sphere foot cap.
The chair back tapers down to the seat cushion, which has a flared profile with cut corner design. 
Seat cushions are bordered in a soft upholstered edge, upholstered in a beige faux ostrich leather.

A great chair set to use with a games table, small conference table or breakfast table.
The metal design makes this set an easy mix with other period furnishings, 
and combines well with other materials such as wood, glass or metal-making a table selection a breeze !
Also a nice set to use as occasional chairs, perhaps in a living room or foyer, with the option of using them as additional dining chairs when needed.

Dimensions: 44" high, 17" to 15" wide, 27" high back (from seat). 19" high seat.

Condition: In very good original condition. Re-upholstered in recent years.
