This is a vintage 1960’s chair and ottoman

Iconic design classic
of the Mid-Century modern era,
this innovative design was constructed of a molded fiberglass shell,
covered in foam and upholstery, on polished steel legs.
This set we are offering was Re-Upholstered recently in a woven boucle
fabric in neutral shades of tan and black.
One of the most celebrated modern furniture designs,
the Womb is truly a chair you can curl up in.
Eero Saarinen made
this design exclusively for Knoll in 1948.
It clearly displays the Finnish-born designer's flair for challenging
rules,
breaking molds and setting new standards for comfort in modern design.
This chair is designed to facilitate a relaxed sitting posture,
providing emotional comfort
and a sense of security, hence the name "Womb."
