Spectacular French Moderne Credenza
with elaborate sunburst marquetry work.
Exotic macassar ebony veneers were expertly patterned to form a
geometric sunburst pattern
on the two center doors, with chevron patterns on the left and right
end doors.
Exotic macassar ebony top, sides and
front, with solid mahogany trim and sycamore interiors.
Trimmed in small, round and oblong shaped, metal beaded trim,
re-plated in polished nickel.
Bridged double front legs design, with circular decoration in the
middle of the bridge.
Tapered, rounded legs are capped with polished nickel sabots that
also have
a raised beaded detail. Key locking doors with polished nickel
key escutcheons and keys.

Part of a Dining Suite, these pieces
are very high quality design,
with impeccable construction and craftsmanship.

Interior has ample storage in 3
divided cabinets. Center cabinet has a single (new) clear glass
shelf.
Bank of 5 drawers, in sycamore with inlay detail. The double doors
have a routed and raised edge
so that when the doors close, they remain intact and prevent
warping.
Dimensions: 104 3/4" wide overall
(including trim), 39 3/4" high, 21 1/2" deep.
Interior Dimensions: Left and right side cabinet interiors: 24" wide
( 21" wide door opening),
16 7/8" deep, 27" high interior.
Center Cabinet with Double door: 18 1/4" deep, 50 1/4" wide, 27 1/2"
high overall,
glass shelf 33 7/8" wide/15 3/4" deep.
Disassembles for easy moving &
transport.
Condition:
In excellent restored condition (April 2009) with a high gloss
French lacquered finish.
All metal re-plated in polished nickel.
