Huge French Art Deco
Rosewood Sideboard
Circa 1930s, France

Sleek and dramatic very
large (over 8 feet long) Rosewood sideboard / credenza.
Black Lacquered top, base accent and base section between the main cabinet
and the plinth base.
Polished Nickel textured and smooth, sweeping door
hardware
and a polished tubular nickel detail on the vertical length of the door
cabinet hinges.
That same tubular design is repeated in black lacquer
on the right and left
edges
of the plinth base.
Although Grand in size, the sleek design makes this
piece elegant, not heavy or bulky.
As with most French Art Deco pieces, this item breaks down and reassembles
easily
for transport and getting it in and out of rooms easily.
Center glass front display
area with mirrored interior and single glass shelf.
Key locking on all three doors.
Single shelf in each side cabinet, offering ample storage for dishes and
serving pieces.

perfect to
house audio equipment, if you wish to place this under a huge flat screen
TV.

29 high, 19 ½ wide, 18 deep.
Condition: In excellent
restored condition. (November 2008) with a French Lacquered finish and
new black lacquered finish. All hardware has been re-plated in polished
nickel.
