French Art Deco Sideboard
Circa 1930’s, France

 

Exotic Macassar Ebony Sideboard with figured doors that make a stunning pattern.
An excellent example of how the use of exotic veneers with a simple overall cabinet design
can really steal the show. Trimmed with black lacquer on the base and
just under the marble top. (not yet pictured)

Topped with a beautiful piece of black marble with white and gold veining.
Polished nickel sphere shaped pulls on the center drawers, also trimmed in
polished nickel on the edges. Tubular nickel door pulls on the cabinet doors.
A large and dramatic piece that was well crafted and just restored
with a shiny French Lacquered finish.

Dimensions: 82" Wide, 43" High, 22" deep. + 2 1/2" deep door hardware projection.

Condition: excellent Restored Condition, with a French Lacquered finish.
All hardware has been re-plated in polished nickel. Original marble top has been
professionally repaired and polished.
