Circa 1930's, France
Rare and all original, circular
profiled bar trolley / cart, created from tubular steel frame
that
was plated in
polished chrome.
This circular design was very popular in the
1930's, however, this rare trolley features
are the original clear beveled glass disc wheels and clear glass rod
push bar, which are not easily found.
Two original glass shelves rest on the horizontal shelf supports.
A stunning cart, ideal for your
prize Art Deco barware, coffee/ tea set, or to wheel out a grand
wedding
cake on at an Art Deco themed wedding or a fabulous dessert at the
end of a dinner party.
Overall Dimensions: 28 1/8 " high,
26" wide, 18 1/4" deep.
Specific dimensions: 28 1/8 " high at top of circle design. 28 "
high at push bar.
Tubular circle frame is 25 1/2". The top shelf is 13" x 20 1/4". The
lower shelf is 13" x 25 5/8".
The clearance between the two shelves is 11 3/4 " high.
26 " wide from push bar to wheel frame edge, as shown. 18 1/4" deep
overall.
Glass wheels are 4 1/4 " in diameter.
Condition: In good original
condition.
This cart has been VERY well loved and used over the
years.
It has an overall age appropriate patina and significant signs of
use.
The glass wheels do not have
any chips or cracks. The glass shelves do not have any chips or
cracks.
Both the shelves and the wheels
have a few very tiny fleabites and have scratches.
The glass bar has
signs of use and scratches.
Of course the shelves can be easily replaced if so desired, and the
glass bar polished,
the frame re-plated. The polished chrome frame has the original
finish and also shows age
appropriate wear and scratches.
We have left this as found since the
cart is all original.
