Grand Scale Sideboard of an exotic cut of rare Macassar Ebony.
Solid brushed bronze Circular door hardware with glass front,
lighted china and glassware display. Curved leg profile on front and sides.
Note the glass inserts at the side of the top cabinet…they illuminate!
Lower key locking cabinets offer ample storage for dishes and flatware.
Original black opaline glass top and glass front cabinet, both framed in bronze.

Right side cabinet has a special safe style lock and has 7 finished drawers;
4 of which have been fitted for silver ware and serving pieces.
3 drawers are empty for storage of cloth napkins & tablecloths.

Beautifully finished in a high gloss French Lacquer,
this superb, high quality cabinet may have been a custom commission.

Exotic Macassar Ebony Sideboard with figured doors that make a stunning pattern.
An excellent example of how the use of exotic veneers with a simple overall cabinet design
can really steal the show. Trimmed with black lacquer on the base and
just under the marble top.

Topped with a beautiful piece of black marble with white and gold veining.
Polished nickel sphere shaped pulls on the center drawers, also trimmed in
polished nickel on the edges. Tubular nickel door pulls on the cabinet doors.
A large and dramatic piece that was well crafted and just restored
with a shiny French Lacquered finish.

Modernist, cubistic design with tubular nickel hardware.

 

The door pulls are shaped as half round circles that form a circle on the two left doors.
Sphere shaped stand offs behind the pulls add to the overall bold Modernist design.
Stepped top, sides and squared base design make a cubist statement.
Recently restored with a proper French Polished finish.

This would be ideal under a very large Flat Screen TV !
