comfortable chair with a hand carved frame, matching ottoman with raised sides.
Designed by Fashion Icon Paul Poiret, who for a brief time,
opened a design
studio for gifted young women,
called "Martine School", named after one of his daughters.
The school produced a variety of designs which are now considered very rare.
Attributed and Pictured in the book " Art Deco Furniture" by Alastair
Duncan.

the 'Ribbon Chair' won the Chicago Design Award in 1968. Known as one of the most comfortable chairs ever produced,
the Ribbon chair is made with a tubular steel frame, covered in
foam and then re-upholstered with the proper upholstery, fastened to a lacquered wood

Very Rare Relaxer in Original Black Leather Circa 1950’s, Tecno, Italy.

Borsani's L-77 chaise lounge is an accomplishment of engineering.
Known as the ultimate ‘relaxer’, this sculptural piece of furniture
commands attention as the centerpiece of a room. The frame is constructed of Enameled metal, rubber with brass.
We have the 3 original black leather cushions, in good original condition, no
rips or tears.
Please note; this lounge is much rarer than the D70 and P40 designs that Borsani did for Tecno. It has not been reproduced as these models are
today.
