French Art Deco Dining Table
Versatile, can also be used as a Desk or Library/ Center Table
Mermaid Mother of Pearl Inlay
In the manner of (possibly) Leleu
Circa 1940's, France

Rare and very unusual Rosewood Dining table with
Mahogany and Black lacquered accents. Each corner of this rectangular topped table
features a figural Mermaid inlay made with exotic woods and Mother of Pearl,
linear detail connects the mermaids.

A raised black lacquered trim also borders
the tabletop on the apron/sides. Each end pulls out with a small drawer for
linens and acts as a support for extension leaves.
Unusual base design is constructed in a
double curved design with center stretcher. Polished nickel decorative disc and
sphere on each base, with banding on the center stretcher between the ends of
the base.
