Exotic and Rare Macassar Ebony with a fresh French polished finish.
The radius curved floating nightstands attach to the headboard,
that has a stepped profile to emulate the popular skyscraper theme of the 1930’s.
Sleek design with curved edges on the inside edges of the nightstands
and on the headboard’s top edges.
The nightstands both feature swivel out drawers with polished chrome sphere pulls.

Below the swivel out drawer is an open shelf, ideal for books or a small decorative object.
We have had 2 custom 3/8” thick polished edge clear glass panels made to protect the macassar ebony tops of the nightstands.

Polished nickel drawer pulls, sabot and trim on feet.
Diamond shaped horizontal backdrop is shaped over the pair of small drawers,
with the floral inlay design inside the diamond.

Very Rare solid Macassar Ebony bench with inlay and decoration.
Very heavy, so it would not move during the ship’s voyage.
Custom commission for Egyptian themed Ocean liner “ Mariette Pacha”.
After the discovery of King Tut’s tomb, all things Egyptian
became very en vogue during the Art Deco era.

Pictured in black & white photos and the original color artists rendering,
in the book “Arts de decoratifs a bord des Paquebots Francais 1880-1960”

Bur Amboina with inlay and delicate hand carved details.

Made as a Boudoir / Bedroom Dressing cabinet.
This cabinet would also be ideal for use in an entry foyer,
to use as a decorative coat closet.

Matched exotic veneers of Bur Amboina
are used with inlay details and hand carved floral decoration
on each tall cabinet door.
Bur Amboina is an extinct wood species and was favored by Ruhlmann,
one of the masters of Art Deco furniture.

Ideal for adding Glamour to a bedroom or living room.
Multifunctional, this can be used as a Vanity with the top lifted,
and then closed for use as a writing or laptop desk.
Original etched mirrors on drawer fronts and sides.
Original mirrored top in 3 sections.

This vanity came out of an estate in St. Tropez, France,
just down the street from Bridget Bardot's home.

Crème lacquer curved wood legs on all pieces have just been restored.
The Pair of Chairs have just been re- upholstered in a rich black ultra-suede
and contrast trimmed with a crème ultra-suede welt and buttons
for a very graphic and up-to-date design.
