Beautiful and Elegant Art Deco
Armoire by Leleu.
Pale Blonde Sycamore with elaborate inlay and fitted interior.
Brass banding trim on top
right and left columns.
Checkerboard design on the door fronts,
with a decorative floral inlay of exotic woods and mother of pearl.
Linear border design on top and bottom of door design.
Elegant and curvaceous base with feminine leg profile.

French Art Deco
Bookcase/Entertainment Cabinet or Bar
In the manner of J E Ruhlmann
Circa 1930’s, France

Unique cabinet, likely a
custom commission for a horse lover.
Carved Equestrian Plaque on Center TV Cabinet acts as a subtle door pull,
with a routed finger pull under the right side. The cabinet rests on a very
elegant
plinth style base with triple carved center scrolls, much in the style of
Ruhlmann.
This may even be an early design of his, we are currently researching this.
Left and right side key locking cabinets are framed in the original verde
painted metal,
with semi-opaque glass that has a carved and etched diamond pattern.
These side cabinets are ideal for books, dvds, cd.s etc.

Double doors are full swing
for ideal television viewing.
Opens easily to expose an entertainment cabinet, ideal for a flat panel TV.

This can also be used as a bar cabinet or armoire.

during the Art Nouveau era with classic Art Nouveau organic design details. Hand
crafted of solid hand carved Walnut. Original complimentary Bronze hardware and
keys. Flowing design theme with bamboo stalks and rounded leaves.
This armoire would be wonderful in a bedroom, bathroom or even a hallway or
entryway as a coat closet.

matching twin beds, that can be converted to a king size bed, day bedsor another use, such as room

Circa 1930’s, Toulouse, France
Burled wood with solid hand carved Mahogany details. Stylized oval shaped floral plaque
and highly dramatic side panels. Fluted trim at top edge and bottom of armoire. Signed with a plaque
and on the interior lock plates. ‘ Antoine Jean Toulouse, France.’ Can also be used as a bookcase or entertainment cabinet. The center mirror can be replaced
with clear glass if so desired.

profile.
The 17th
century was the age of the cabinet. During this design period, the carved buffet that had previously been popular
was replaced by the cabinet as the object of desire in wealthy households.

Antique 18th Century French Country Painted Double Armoire
Louis Seize (Louis XVI) PeriodCirca 1774-1792, Val d’Isère, France

Colorful painted Pine armoire from the Alpine region of France. Area of Val d’Isère, one of the largest and most beautiful ski areas in the
world. Tests on the paint have indicated that the cabinet was hand painted
approximately 100 years after the cabinet was made.
It
featured 2 double doors with raised panels and 2 lower drawers. The original wrought iron door latches and drawer hardware is intact and
functional. The traditional Louis Seize straight lines, with crown molding at the top
that is also detailed to match the doors and trim.

Grand scale Armoire dressing cabinet burled walnut veneers. Interesting modernist foot design and the center cabinet has a raised
rectangular border. The three compartments make this ideal for use today as a bookcase or
entertainment cabinet. The left and right side cabinets have adjustable wood shelves. The center cabinet was intended for use with a clothing rod and has no shelves. On the top there is the original pull out rod for hanging your next days’
clothes. (this can easily be removed and saved if so desired)
