Streamline Art Deco
Executive Desk
Circa 1930’s, New York, USA

Bold streamline American
Art Deco Executive desk created out of fiddleback walnut with black
lacquered curved bases. Streamline, sleek aluminum and wood drawer pulls.
Covered knee-space.
Original manufacturer’s
metal tag inside the key locking pencil drawer,
made by Macey Fowler Office Furniture in New York.
Six shallow drawers, one
deep file drawer and one key locking (fitted) pencil drawer, with key.
One of the right drawers is a bit quirky-as it will not open unless you open
the pencil drawer first!
This may have been intentional.
Both sides have fully extendable pull out shelves for extra workspace when
needed.
Dimensions: 36” deep, 66”
wide, 30 ¼” high.
Knee-space: 30 ½” wide, 25 ¼” high, 34 ½” deep.
Condition: This desk came
to us as shown-with a previous restoration.
We will be cleaning this and touching up where needed in October 2008.
Item # ADFOF60: Price:
$ 8,900.
If you would like this refinished in your choice of color (stain),
we can do this for an additional fee.
