High gloss black lacquered Modernist Art Deco Designer’s Desk.
Height adjusts from a sitting to standing height.
Used by furniture designers as a drawing table, can also be used today as a podium,
book/ music stand, or host stand in a restaurant.

Lower storage compartments, ideal for a laptop, books or menus.

Slanted desktop with pencil rest and inkwell inset on the top ledge.
Utilize this inkwell hole with a adjustable modernist chrome lamp...

Adjustable 1” high bottom ledge to hold pencils. Slanted top has a 3” pitch.
Original large ‘wing nut’ style fasteners loosen to adjust height.
Shown in original condition, with patina,
we can re-plate this upon request in nickel if so desired.

Dimensions: Top: 31 ½” wide, 21 1/8” deep.
Base: 30 ½” wide, 21 5/8” deep.
Height adjusts from 29 ½” high (top measurement) to 50” high.

Interior storage compartments: top: 22 ½” wide, 11 ¼” deep, 4 ½” high.
lower: 22 ½” wide, 8 1/8” deep, 5 5/8” high.

Condition: In good as found condition, with light wear to the finish.
One crack on the base finish at the footrest. Lacquer finish was applied in recent years and
has a few touch ups on the base.
