1915-Early 1920's, France.
Rare and important collector's office suite.

This suite was a custom commission from the Primavera Design Studio
at Paris' premier department store, Au Printemps.
Features four unique exotic wood inlays featuring the Sciences;
including compass', square, triangle,
a world globe, stars and the moon, a telescope and more.
(only one of the four designs are pictured below)

THIS SET SHOWCASES INTRICATE UNUSUAL INLAYS FEATURING
ARCHITECT
AND DRAFTING TOOLS AS WELL AS ASTRONOMY TOOLS
IN THE DOOR PANELS OF THE DESK AND BOOKCASE.
EXOTIC FIDDLE-BACK MAHOGANY VENEERS.
BOOKCASE WITH ADJUSTABLE SHELVES,
DRAWERS AND KEY LOCKING SIDE CABINETS.
BUN STYLE FEET ON BOTH PIECES.
BOTH PIECES SIGNED WITH METAL TAGS.
