Art Deco Vanity with matching Bench
Rare Burled & Striped Zebrawood
Circa 1920’s, Vienna

 

Unique Viennese, simple, yet functional vanity / stool design.
Hand carved legs with flared, fluted detail.
Original locks with keys, hand made brass hardware.

As with any piece of furniture covered in Zebrawood,
the design must be simple so that it does not compete with the pattern
in this exotic wood species, obviously this was taken into consideration
when this piece was designed.

Vanity features the original beveled mirror (in perfect condition),
framed with a scalloped top.
Key locking storage cabinet on left side, side and center drawers.

Vanity / Dressing Table: 46” wide, with base 50” wide.
69” high, cabinet 18” deep, with base, 22” deep. Mirror, with frame, 24 ½” wide.

Stool: Seat dimensions: 19 ¾” wide, 14 ½” deep, 17” high.

Condition: In excellent restored condition with a natural clear matte finish,
to allow the beauty of this unique exotic wood to shine through.
